The Kentucky Black Freedom digital map tells stories about the long struggle for racial justice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The project is a collaboration between the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage and the University of Louisville.
The map team includes Dr. Lara Kelland, Janae Hall, DJ Biddle, Heather Fox, Jessica Riley, Carrie Daniels, and Lijah Fosl.
Funding for the project was provided by the Cooperative Consortium of Transdiciplinary Social Justice Research at the University of Louisville and the National Parks Service.
